In Loving Memory of  CHAMMIE

May 24, 1986 - October 24, 2007

Chammie was the first Silver Persian to come to Copacabana Cattery.  She is the grandmother of many of the kittens born on  this website.  She was on sub-Q fluids for 3 years and spoon feed daily for the last year and then twice daily for the last two months.  Many thanks to Dr. Elaine Byrd for helping Chammie pass peacefully in the quiet of her own home.  She was loved for 21 years and 5 months.  She will be greatly missed and fondly remembered.  Thank you all for your kind words.
